In the third year we had the opportunity to choose a minor. I chose Collections where we could design a collection consisting of three looks.
The fusion of Chinese and Western influences has inspired me to communicate that through clothing. It is interesting to reflect on my own roots and use fashion as a medium.
In this collection symbolism plays a role as a subtle nod to the cultural references. Elements of traditional clothing from China and Western tailoring. Reflecting on the past and present. Creating a timeless aesthetic.
